of experience with Internet and Web technology. We use high quality servers located in
excellent datacentres. All our servers are monitored 24/7 by Alertra(tm) and we have excellent uptime.

Network
FirmEdge Internet's High Performance Carefully Managed Web Servers
are located in several Datacentre's spread
across the USA. All Datacentre's that we use have large high capacity
redundant networks, professional redundant power supply solutions,
diesel backup generators, HVAC systems to provide cooling and
full professional fire pevention systems in place. Our support
services are all hosted on seperate servers to our customers so
that in the event of downtime you can still easily contact us.
Hardware and Software
Our servers are mainly powered by Dual Intel™ Xeon Processors,
and run Raid 1 with high speed SCSI hard drives.
FirmEdge Internet utilizes the Red Hat™ Enterprise Linux
operating system. Red Hat™ Linux is a highly configurable
system, and well known for speed and stability. Red Hat™
Linux servers have been documented to remain operating for up
to one year at a time without even requiring a reboot. And the
Apache™ Web Server nicely compliments the Red Hat™
Linux Operating System. We use the Industry Standard CPanel for
hosting control. Every customer has his or her own control panel
to simplify basic tasks including creating email addresses, subdomains,
managing databases and automatically installing scripts.

a variety of reasons.
